LEVEL 2Small Sided2v2
The Angle Is the Screen
A screen only works if it actually stands between the defender and where the ball-handler is going. That is the angle. In 2v2 the defense sees every screen coming, so the angle matters more than the contact. As the screener, aim your back at the spot you want your partner to attack — usually the open side of the floor or the rim. As the handler, wait until the screen is set, then drive shoulder-to-shoulder off it. Leave a gap and the defender slips through; use the angle and they have no path.
READ THIS
Watch the on-ball defender's cheat in the beat before the screen arrives — feet sliding over the top of the expected path.
DO THIS
Screener: flip your angle so the cheat is wrong. Handler: reject the screen and drive into the side the defender just left.

IN THE SITUATION ROTATION
Your 2v2 partner comes to set a screen on your defender. Before it even arrives, you feel them cheating up and over the screen path, determined not to get caught on it like last time.
Appears as a Situation of the Day · 2v2
In a 2v2 game, your partner sets a ball screen on the right side. Your defender fights over the top of it, and your partner's defender drops back toward the paint, leaving a pocket of space between them.
