Two on the Ball Means Someone Eats
Here's a piece of basketball arithmetic that never fails: if two defenders are guarding you, one of your teammates has nobody guarding them. So when your drive pulls a second defender, you've already won — you just have to cash it in. Keep your dribble alive or jump-stop under control, find the free teammate, and deliver the ball. Don't fight two defenders for a tough shot when a teammate has an open one. Drawing two isn't a failure to score; it's the play working exactly as designed.
READ THIS
Feel and see the second defender commit — chest turned to you, weight down, his man abandoned somewhere behind the play.
DO THIS
Drive until the helper's chest commits, then deliver immediately — pocket, wrap, or jump-stop pivot — to the teammate their help abandoned.
