The Geometry of the Triangle
The triangle offense starts with a shape: three players on one side of the floor — one in the corner, one on the wing, one in the post — spaced about fifteen feet apart. That shape gives the ball three ways to move at all times, and no single defender can cover two of them. The other two players hold the weak side. You don't need to memorize plays; you need to keep the shape. When the ball moves, the triangle re-forms somewhere new. Good spacing means every pass is short, safe, and leads to another choice.
READ THIS
Check the shape when the ball reaches the wing — corner filled, post established, roughly fifteen feet between all three.
DO THIS
Fill the open spot of the triangle nearest you, keep fifteen-foot spacing, and after you pass, cut or relocate so the shape rebuilds.

The triangle decision framework applies to any offense — proper spacing turns every defensive choice into a wrong answer.
IN THE SITUATION ROTATION
Your 5v5 team plays with triangle spacing principles. You pass from the top to the right wing; the post is filled on that side but the right corner is empty. Everyone is watching what you do next.
