When the Window Opens, Take It
In one-on-one, advantages don't last. When you finally get your defender off balance — leaning, crossed up, or a step behind — that is the moment to finish the play, not to set up another move. Many players earn a great advantage and then waste it dribbling into another setup, letting the defender recover. Think of it like this: all your moves exist to create one clean opening. When the opening appears, stop being clever. Go score. Hesitation is how won possessions get lost.
READ THIS
Watch for the moment the defender's hips turn away from your driving line or their balance visibly breaks.
DO THIS
Go immediately — attack shoulder-to-hip in a straight line to the rim, no extra dribble, no second setup.
